Weslina Hung

Weslina Hung

Weslina studied English Literature and Japanese Literature at the University of Santa Barbara. She worked overseas in Japan at a tech firm prior to returning to California to begin her legal career by studying at the University of California, Davis. While at UC Davis, Weslina chaired various affinity groups and helmed the UC Davis Social Justice Law Review for two years as editor-in-chief. She studied abroad in Seoul, Korea, as part of a summer program with Akron University to study International Business Law.

Weslina has extensive experience giving a voice to underserved communities. She interned at a public aid clinic where she worked on immigration law issues as well as wage claim issues, often assisting clients who did not speak English fluently. She also participated in the drafting of a comment sent to the federal government arguing against the suspension of DACA in 2019.

Weslina is a member of the Mediation Team at Lawyers for Justice.
