Brian J. St. John
LawyerBrian brings his strong voice to workers across California as they confront complex wage-and-hour issues and legal challenges. At Lawyers for Justice, PC, he channels his efforts into optimizing outcomes for groups of similarly injured employees, or class actions. Brian is admitted to practice law in California, as well as several federal U.S. District Courts. His depth of experience handling employments matters comes from working on multiple sides of employment litigation and management, which enables him to see and understand the greatest and fairest outcomes for workers.
Brian started out working for a small defense-side employment law firm after completing a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall, School of Law. There he learned the intricacies of labor and employment law and also directly interacted with corporate clients, providing instruction and guidance on maintaining a safe and lawful employee working environment. Brian then went in-house, becoming the head of the legal department for a licensed California Knox-Keene Health Plan, where he gave legal guidance on the employee-policy needs of the company.
Having established and implemented workplace and employment procedures, Brian came to Lawyers for Justice, PC, well-equipped with a multi-dimensional perspective on tackling workers’ rights issues.
